Update: Just Socks donates 500 socks to CAFP sock drive!

Update: We’ve just found out that Just Socks, a registered charity of McGregor Socks, confirmed they will donate another 500 socks to go to Good Shepherd! Although originally agreeing to double any of our students’ online donations for the sock drive, they were happy to see CAFP Ryerson’s achievements in the drive and went further.

This means a total of 851 pairs of socks have been gathered by CAFP Ryerson with the help of students and sponsors. Good job, Ryerson! 851 feet will be warm and dry this and the upcoming season.

CAFP Sock Drive a Huge Success!!

What an amazing year! Not just to us students, but also for the visitors of Good Shepherd Ministries shelter, the urban homeless shelter right around the corner near Queen St. and Parliament.

CAFP Ryerson has been able to collect 351 pairs of new mens’ socks, all to benefit Good Shepherd Ministries.

This amazing achievement would not have been possible without the strong support from our amazing Ryerson students as well as the support from our corporate sponsors, including Just Socks, a registered charity of McGregor Socks, as well as Hanes, who all helped reach our goal to help the homeless of our community.
